This Cookie Policy explains how Web Power & Light, LLC (“WP&L,” “Company,” “us,” “we,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on getmemberium.com (the “Site”). Memberium® is a trademark of Web Power & Light, LLC.

This Policy works together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms used here without definition have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. Our Current Cookie Use (As of August 1, 2026)

We have intentionally chosen not to use third-party tracking, advertising, remarketing, or session-recording technologies on the Site. As of the effective date below, the Site does not use:

  • third-party web analytics (such as Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar services);
  • advertising or remarketing pixels (such as Meta Pixel or Google Ads);
  • session recording or heat-mapping (such as Hotjar, FullStory, or VWO);
  • third-party tag managers that load additional trackers.

What we do use, where small amounts of data are stored in your browser, is described in Section 3 below.

2. What Cookies (and Similar Technologies) Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and similar browser-storage mechanisms. Together, these let a site remember state between page loads — such as your color-theme preference or a shopping choice.

Some cookies are “first-party” (set by the site you are visiting). Others are “third-party” (set by another domain, typically for advertising or analytics across many sites). On this Site, the only cookies or local-storage entries we set are first-party.

3. What the Site Actually Uses

Theme (Color Palette) Preference

The Site lets visitors choose a color palette (such as Navy + Gold, Slate + Sapphire, or Charcoal + Emerald). Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the Site loads with your preference on your next visit. This data never leaves your browser and contains no identifying information.

  • Type: first-party, browser local storage
  • Stored: your selected palette name
  • Purpose: remember your visual preference
  • Duration: persists until you clear browser storage

Checkout via LemonSqueezy

Checkout and payment for purchases are handled by our Merchant of Record, LemonSqueezy. The checkout overlay loads from app.lemonsqueezy.com, and any cookies placed during checkout are set by LemonSqueezy on its own domain, under its own privacy policy. Those cookies are not under our control and are not described in detail here.

Strictly-Necessary Server Sessions

If we ever need a short-lived server session (for example, to support a logged-in feature), we may set a single first-party session cookie that is essential to the operation of that feature. Such a cookie, if used, is strictly necessary and is not used for tracking.

4. “No Trackers” Statement

Because the Site does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or session-recording technologies, we have no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no cross-site tracking cookies to disclose. Nothing on the Site follows you across other websites.

If a browser-based Do Not Track (DNT) signal is sent, our position is unchanged — we are not engaging in the cross-site tracking that DNT is designed to address.

5. If We Add Trackers in the Future

We may decide to add analytics, support, or other services in the future. If we do, we will:

  • update this Policy before or at the time the new service goes live;
  • identify the service, its purpose, and the cookies or similar technologies it uses, with their category and duration;
  • where consent is required under applicable law (such as the GDPR or UK GDPR), request your consent before setting any non-essential cookies; and
  • offer a way to opt out or withdraw consent.

We will not retroactively add trackers and then ask for forgiveness. Any future change to this section will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.

6. Managing & Deleting Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse cookies, delete existing ones, or warn you before a cookie is set. The exact steps vary by browser:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Disabling cookies for the Site will not prevent you from reading its public pages. The only feature affected by disabling first-party local storage is the theme-preference setting, which will fall back to the default palette.

7. Business-Continuity Notice

The previous Memberium website at memberium.com (operated by Castle Mountain Limited under a separate license arrangement) used a variety of analytics, advertising, and session-recording services. None of those services are present on this Site. This Policy reflects the current practices of Web Power & Light, LLC only.
